In 2008, I made the biggest move of my life - leaving everything I knew in Iran to start fresh in New York City. That experience taught me something profound: relocation isn't just about moving belongings from one place to another. It's about transplanting your entire life, your dreams, and your family's future.

The stress was overwhelming. Finding the right neighborhood, understanding school systems, connecting utilities, building new relationships - every step felt like navigating uncharted territory. I wished someone could have guided me through the process, someone who understood not just the logistics, but the emotional journey of starting over.

After seven years in New York, I moved to the Washington D.C. area, and then to Illinois. Each move taught me something new about the relocation process. I realized that even with experience, moves remained complex and stressful. That's when the idea for Relokō was born.
